Coal Cart Garden Planter, celebrating our British coal mining industry. The product has a Chatterley Whitfield graphic on the front of the cart, is painted black to represent the raw material and treated with a protective oil and then waxed.
The Coal Cart Garden Planter is designed to house a small plastic tub, sourced from an empty washing powder box.  Helping to create a circular economy story here in Stoke-on-Trent.
Learn about our local coal mining industry and research the many pits across the Potteries. Local people from the six towns worked down the mines and helped to extract coal from underground. This fossil fuel from The North Staffordshire Coalfields was used to fire our iconic bottleovens and kilns and made our communities thrive in the heyday of the pottery industry.
P&P included or collect from Burslem in Stoke-on-Trent and choose your product as there are slight differences in pattern/wood grain.
